Role and Responsibilities




Under the responsibility of the Controller, the analyst plays a key role in consolidating the company's activities. He/She will be required to participate in and supervise several accounting, analytical, and operational tasks. He or she will closely collabote with production, engineering, finance, and sales teams to ensure a precise understanding of costs and support strategic pricing decisions.


Additionally, a significant part of the role will involve supporting our 2 plants in Laval and the one located in Mexico in terms of costing. The candidate's daily tasks will be varied, thus providing a unique opportunity for professional development within the group. He or she will not only be able to diversify their skills but also gain valuable experience in strategic and operational areas, thereby contributing to their progression within the company.


More precisely:Analyze costs, manufacturing variances, inventory values as well as margins by project/department/division; Determine manufacturing rates and machine rates Meet with operational directors to review financial statements and expenses of their divisions; Support the Director of Finances in the establishment of budgets and other projects as needed; Establish cost estimates for new products; Make recommendations to improve processes and implement solutions ; Manage various projects that enable the company to maintain its strategic position on the global chessboard of the automotive industry; Support the finance team during month-end and year-end closings in their area of expertise;

Required profile and habilities



Strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers are essential for the position Attention to detail and rigor: Precision in work and particular attention to the quality of deliverables and accuracy of data; Being an excellent communicator at all levels of the organization; Problem-solving: ability to identify and propose solutions to various problems that arise;



Knowledges, Education and Experience



Bachelor's degree in accounting sciences or any other combination of studies/experience; Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment; Mastery of Excel at an expert level; Knowledge of an ERP (Business Central, IQMS, etc.); Knowledge of Power BI, Access, or other analytical tools (an asset) * CPA member (an asset)
