Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, performing regular reviews to ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for assigned projects.
• Generate detailed financial reports and statements for project stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Manage all financial transactions related to projects, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Conduct cost analyses and evaluate project profitability to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards in all project-related activities.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to create effective financial plans.
• Investigate and resolve project-related financial discrepancies by analyzing account data.
• Record and document financial actions to maintain accurate and accessible records.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong expertise in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in handling Canadian payroll processes and financial reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and monitor budgets effectively.
• Experience with cost analysis and profitability assessments.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting functions, including invoice processing and cash activity.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
