Our client is a dynamic and growth-oriented manufacturing firm known for its commitment to quality and innovation. Their team is expanding, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join the finance department.

As a Cost Accountant, you will be crucial in analyzing and reporting costs associated with manufacturing products. You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate cost data and help develop cost-saving strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.

\xc2\xb7 Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard and production costs.

\xc2\xb7 Record cost information for use in controlling expenditures.

\xc2\xb7 Analyze audits of costs and prepare reports for management.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct inventory analysis and provide recommendations for inventory adjustments.

\xc2\xb7 Assist in the development of cost forecasts and budgeting processes.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze and report variances.

\xc2\xb7 Support the company\'s continuous improvement initiatives by providing financial insights.

Qualifications:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with accounting software and databases.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices is preferred but not required.
