THE ROLE



Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Personnel Support Programs, the Corporate Services Manager plans, coordinates, and manages the Corporate Services Program (Marketing, sponsorship, etc.) at the Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U) level. -They manage the workflow of corporate services activities at the B/W/U level. -They develop budgets and business plans for the B/W/U corporate services activities and controls assets and authorizes financial transactions/commitments within an approved budget. -The Corporate Services Manager negotiates and manages agreements and accounts for the B/W/U corporate services activities and identifies and solicits sponsorship opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED



Education, Certifications and Licenses College Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or Advertising or a related field AND several years of experience in sales and marketing or a related field AND A valid Driver's License Experience Needed: o In corporate sponsorship and sales solicitation o In market research o In developing sponsorship packages and contracts o In managing projects o In negotiating and managing contracts o In writing proposals for funding o In promotion, event marketing, media and field marketing initiatives o In budget administration o In personnel administration Knowledge o Of principles and practices associated with sponsorship and resource development o Of general business practices and theories o Of practices and procedures associated with national advertising campaigns o Of community newspaper practices o Of marketing and sales strategies o Of accounting and invoice administration o Of budget management o Of personnel management Competencies, Skills and Abilities Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

Bilingual Essential ( French / English) Reading: Advanced Writing: Functional Oral: Advanced

Location: o Parking is at a cost; Public transportation is available. Hybrid Modality: This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
