We would consider candidates based in Vancouver or the Lower Mainland, BC.
Applicants must have previous experience managing complex projects in an Environmental Consulting industry
. Previous experience with Wrike Project Management Software is an asset but not mandatory.

What We're Looking For:
Professional Project Management designation PMP is preferred but will consider PMP-PMI and CAPM
At least five years' Project Management practice within the Environmental Consultancy industry is preferred (adjacent industry's will be considered)
Experience with; budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting, scope control, leadership and supervision of project teams and client management
Degree or diploma in a related field; environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology (is an asset)
Collaboration with technical teams to monitor, evaluate, and report on project performance; budget, cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and issues
Conduct regular project progress and status reviews where you bring forward project issues and risks, as well as quality and scope deviations
Timely escalation to leadership of day-to-day issues, risks and problems when the situation requires it
Experience with Project Management Software (e.g., Wrike) and a quick learner who easily adapts to new software applications, systems, and processes
Experience leading, or as a key team member, implementing Project Management software (is an asset)
Knowledge of and experience with relevant provincial legislation, environmental standards, regulations and guidelines for managing cultural heritage (is an asset)
Understand the unique complexities associated with undertaking projects in the Vancouver area
Experience working with First Nation communities on complex projects
Have experience supervising field staff and office-based colleagues
Excellent report-and proposal-writing skills
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and think outside the box
Enjoy being a mentor to more junior and cross-functional team members
What You'll Do:
Become our corporate Project Management leader. Fully leverage our PM software (Wrike) to provide a global view for managing the business and creating efficiencies for the Archaeology Project managers. Manage aspects of large and complex projects in concert with the Archaeology Project Managers and technical team. Standardize Client Project Management processes and systems to exceed service and quality expectations.
Our client base includes municipal and provincial government agencies, First Nations, forestry, mining, transportation, infrastructure, and private development. Our projects complexity results from managing person-hours across multiple sites and deliverables, typically while acting as a sub-contractor within larger projects timelines.
