Duties



Develop and implement comprehensive inventory management strategies aligned with corporate goals, utilizing advanced supply chain analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Nielsen data. Oversee warehouse distribution activities, ensuring accurate stock control, efficient materials handling, and timely order fulfillment through robust warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms like SAP or AS400. Lead procurement and sourcing initiatives by negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing pricing to maximize value. Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies or supply chain disruptions, implementing process improvements to prevent recurrence. Utilize data mining and data collection techniques to analyze demand planning trends, forecast inventory needs, and support production planning efforts. Manage logistics operations including shipping & receiving, 3PL partnerships, and freight cost optimization while ensuring compliance with safety standards such as forklift operation and heavy lifting protocols. Drive continuous improvement projects focused on inventory control, category management, and process efficiencies within the supply chain framework.

Requirements



Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong background in warehouse distribution, inventory control, and materials handling. Demonstrated expertise in procurement, sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and supplier management. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as SAP or AS400), SQL databases, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform financial analysis, demand forecasting, root cause analysis, and supply chain analytics. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with experience in category management and process improvement initiatives. Hands-on experience with logistics operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, 3PL coordination, and materials management. Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications such as forklift operation certification or logistics-related credentials are preferred but not mandatory.
