As a Corporate Finance Associate (Bilingual FR/EN), you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

You will play an essential role as part of a team working on a particular transaction (sale, merger and acquisition (M&A) and financing) Supporting the team in the preparation and presentation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients Conducting thorough research on companies and industries Obtaining needed information from available client data and conducting appropriate financial analysis Assisting in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials (teaser, confidential information memorandum (CIM), management presentation, etc.) Preparing financial models to support analysis in proposals and transaction documentation Identifying key strategic & financial buyers/investors Managing the transaction's status reports Coordinating a transaction's due diligence process all the way to close And more The candidate will be required to work extended hours

The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada Relevant work experience- accounting firm, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or commercial banking would be an asset Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics, Corporate Finance and/or Commerce Completion or progression toward an accounting or finance designation (CPA, CBV, CFA, MSc or MBA) would be an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) Proficiency in Capital IQ as an asset Comprehensive financial and accounting skills and understanding of financial modelling and valuation methodologies A keen interest in M&A including but not limited to a basic knowledge of the standard M&A process and an understanding of key local investors Eager to participate in business development opportunities and initiatives This role doesn't support completion of the Canadian CPA designation This position is required to be on-site.
