As our Corporate Development Associate, you will assist the Corporate Development functions for Altea Healthcare/Aarista Technologies. The candidate will be responsible for everything that falls under the Corporate Development and Strategy office, including generating internal financial reports and analysis, reviewing and providing input on legal agreements, preparing investor presentations, and financial models.
What You Will Be Working On:
Assist in all aspects of the capital-raising and M&A processes including valuation, term sheet preparation, due diligence, and negotiations.
Create, develop, and present/pitch investor teasers, presentations, business plans, and financial models.
Aid in the reviewing and drafting of legal documents, such as financing agreements, term sheets, etc. to ensure alignment with high-level discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on strategic objectives and provide data-driven support for business decisions.
Support the development of business strategies, including scoping and structuring, formulating hypotheses, conducting research, performing analysis, developing actionable recommendations, and creating implementation plans.
Conduct ongoing assessments of the industry and competitive landscape, identifying key industry and regulatory trends impacting the business, and associated growth opportunities.
Provide support for business units by performing analysis of activities (on systems, products, processes, and/or procedures) to improve core functions, growth, and profitability.
Manage multiple initiatives and timelines simultaneously.
Prepare regular status updates for members of the senior management team.
Who We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related fields, ideally with a specialization in Finance, Business, or similar fields; MBA or MFin
At least 3-4 years of professional experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, investment banking private equity, or corporate finance at an Analyst or Associate level
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including the development of discounted cash flow models, key scenarios and sensitivity analysis, and Project ROI
Demonstrated experience in supporting corporate decision-making, preferably through business case analysis.
Demonstrated high levels of initiative, innovation, and collaboration.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Highly proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Proven experience managing multiple priorities.
Professional designation considered an asset (e.g. CA, CFA charter, or other similar designations)
Nice to have: data visualization skills (i.e. Tableau, Power BI)
