Job Description
McLeod & Schneiderat Lawyers, in downtown Penticton is seeking a
Corporate Commercial Legal Assistant or Paralegal
with experience in corporate commercial transactions. We will require an individual who is organized, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team on all corporate commercial files from start to finish. This role will require an individual who has an ability to multi task, is detail oriented and is able to work in a fast paced environment.Experience with Unity Accounting E-Conveyance, BC Registries, LTSA and E-Corp will be an asset. Other components of the role include:
Preparation of Asset Sales and Purchases Incorporations and Share Restructures Bare Trust Agreements Communication with clients, solicitors, other legal professionals, mortgage brokers, and real estate agents by phone and email Dealing with contracts, title reviews, and mortgage payouts Other duties as assigned
