Develop, coordinate, and implement membership offerings, recruitment, engagement, and retention plans.
Track, maintain and report membership performance, measuring the impact of collaborations and engagement using defined metrics and KPIs.
Cultivate and foster relationships with corporate members, understanding their priorities and developing initiatives to enhance engagement (e.g., annual member survey, member portal).
Lead the Corporate Membership Committee and facilitate member-driven activities, special projects, and working groups to ensure resources and information is properly disseminated.
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop membership-focused communication materials.
Collaborate with the team to enhance supplier recruitment and engagement to support Corporate Members.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship-building.
Prepare and present proposals, sales presentations, and negotiations with prospective partners and clients.
Represent CAMSC at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote partnerships and expand market presence.
Managerial Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and implement the strategic plan and annual budget.
Refine, develop, and implement CAMSC-wide operational systems and processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to align business development and partnership efforts with CAMSC's objectives.
Supervise, support and mentor department staff, students, interns, and volunteers.
Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts for students, interns, and volunteers as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
Event Support:
Collaborate with the events team to support event production and sponsorship confirmation.
Attend corporate member events to engage with suppliers and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
At least two years of experience in managing teams (preferably in the not-for-profit sector).
Proven experience in corporate partnership management, business development, or related roles.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and foster win-win partnerships.
Strategic mindset with the ability to identify partnership opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.
Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze partnership performance data and identify improvement areas.
Familiarity with corporate social responsibility and sustainability practices is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft365, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other project management tools.
