Core Insight Chiropractic is a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic in the east end of St. John\xe2\x80\x99s, offering Chiropractic, Massage Therapy and Acupuncture. We utilize a broad spectrum of techniques, practitioners, and products to develop individualized care programs for our patients.
We are focused on improving the health of our patients, and we believe that requires attention to both the physical and mental aspects of daily life. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our administrative team as a part time Medical Receptionist!

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

  • Communicating with patients by phone, email, and in person
  • Greeting patients as they arrive at the clinic
  • Conducting new patient intake procedures
  • Using Practice Perfect software to book and confirm appointments
  • Processing online insurance claims
  • Processing payments via debit and credit
  • Answering phones and responding to voicemail and email messages
  • Receiving faxed documentation or referrals and sorting accordingly
  • Faxing documentation, scanning, and filing patient charts
  • Other related office tasks as needed

This is a part time staff position with up to 16 hours/week.
The clinic is open Monday to Wednesday until 8pm, Thursdays and Fridays until 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 3pm.

They will be a reliable team player with the ability to prioritize and pivot with changing client needs.
  • Ability to work evenings and Saturdays (closed on Sundays), daytime availability considered an asset
  • General computer skills and knowledge
  • Knowledge of Google suite of tools such as docs, sheets, email, and calendar would be considered an asset
  • Diploma in Office Administration (Medical) and previous experience in a healthcare setting considered an asset but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a clear and calm manner
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to change
  • Interest in a career in the health services field
