The Opportunity

The Core Analyst (CA) is responsible for core inventory mgt and is the main contact for vendors\xe2\x80\x99 core recovery. The CA manages the vendor core eligibilities and works with branches to avoid core credit loss. They are responsible for the planning and preparation of documentation as it relates to the return of core products from Wajax branches to specific vendors.

The Role

  • Participate in Health and Safety programs designed to ensure our \xe2\x80\x9cEveryone Home Safe\xe2\x80\x9d initiatives are achieved.
  • Works with all WJX branches to manage core return programs for T1 suppliers for both equipment and power systems (MTU, Allison, DDC, Daimler, Deutz, Hitachi etc.)
  • Works closely and effectively with branch staff and management to ensure core (warranty, returns and buyback)items are removed from branch inventory and returned to vendors on schedule while addressing any concerns that may develop. Includes conducting weekly calls in FR & EN with all branches
  • Responsible for ensuring all cross-border shipments have the necessary customs documentation and clearances, including any EPA documentation requirements.
  • Prioritizes returns and enters required documentation into vendor websites ensuring cores are returned in accordance with established vendor guidelines and eligibility windows.
  • Processes cores in an established standard WJX procedure and troubleshoots and resolves vendor/branch core matters in a timely manner.
  • Provides training/program communications to branches where necessary & works with vendors to iron out processes that are unclear/undefined.
  • Notifies branch staff and/or management of any vendor exceptions on returns and works to rectify issues by adjusting vendor documentation or branch inventory accordingly
  • Ensures all core returns have received proper credit and investigates those which have not; files returns and updates all computerized systems.
The Candidate
  • Education: Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent but diploma in logistics or business administration preferred
  • Work Experience: 2+ years in logistics or business environment. Previous experience with Core management process and vendors is an asset
  • Knowledge: Bilingual (English and French) is an asset. Strong working knowledge of customs requirements associated with exportation. General knowledge of industrial goods and equipment. Lean and Continuous improvement experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency: Intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Microsoft Access is an asset.
