Contract Length: June 2024 with potential to extend

Our client, a professional services firm is seeking a dynamic and creative Brand Strategist with a specialized focus on messaging and use of strategic articulation of core brand concepts and narratives. The ideal candidate will typically craft strategic communication that aligns with overall brand strategy. The role involves creating compelling and consistent messages that convey the brand's value proposition, key differentiators, and overall narrative.

What you will do:

  • Oversee the evolution of network wide brand messaging, to be implemented across 150+ territories.
  • Evolve new messaging framework to align with and articulate new brand positioning and tone of voice.
  • Work with agency partner and internal stakeholder groups and Line of Service leaders on messaging development and socialization.
  • Work with internal groups and agency partners on developing guidelines and training materials for internal use and with external agency partners around the network.
  • Understand tone of voice, brand architecture and sales funnel and client experience with extensive brand strategy and messaging development.
  • Handle multiple initiatives in parallel with a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and the business to influence how the practice engages with the marketplace to drive relevance, distinctiveness and growth.
  • Build and manage relationships across with other marketing functions and the business, across a global network, including effectively managing a matrixed organization.
  • Understand across marketing and sales capabilities, including sales, marketing and integrated content in a B2B context.
  • Evaluate how future technologies and trends could impact and influence the brand and governance processes.
  • Work with remote teams and time zones is a plus. Considering candidates in ET/CT time zone to accommodate flexibility with global touchpoints and meetings.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 15+ years of proven experience as a Brand Strategist or in a similar role, with a focus on messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into effective messaging strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and a keen understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for messaging and content creation.
