RESUME DU POSTE :
Golf Canada est a la recherche d'une personne motivee, axee sur la mission et possedant d'excellentes aptitudes en communications pour aider a la mise en oeuvre du programme dans la province. Le Coordonnateur, First Tee - Premier depart Quebec relevera directement du Gestionnaire du programme First Tee - Premier depart Quebec et participera a l'administration et a l'execution du programme First Tee - Premier depart dans la province.
PRINCIPALES TACHES :

  • Participer a l'administration quotidienne des programmes First Tee - Premier depart, notamment le programme des etablissements de golf, le programme scolaire, le programme communautaire et la formation des benevoles et des entraineurs ;
  • Repondre aux demandes de renseignements et aux requetes directes des clubs de golf, des professionnels du golf, des enseignants, des parents/tuteurs et des dirigeants communautaires concernant les programmes ;
  • Recruter des benevoles pour aider a la mise en oeuvre du programme sur les sites du programme (etablissements de golf) ;
  • Coordonner l'etablissement du calendrier, l'inscription et la collecte de donnees/la production de rapports avec les sites de programme ;
  • Mettre a jour et entretenir la base de donnees des rapports (Salesforce) et le site Web (WordPress) ;
  • Aider a la coordination de la livraison de l'image de marque, de l'equipement et du materiel du programme avec le personnel du siege social de First Tee et de First Tee - Canada ;
  • Collaborer avec le responsable du marketing et des communications pour promouvoir efficacement les programmes et les initiatives de First Tee - Premier depart afin d'augmenter le nombre d'inscriptions des participants et de susciter l'interet des donateurs ;
  • Travailler de maniere cooperative et efficace avec le personnel de Golf Quebec afin de respecter les obligations provinciales en matiere de rapports ;
  • Aider a la collecte et a l'examen des verifications des antecedents des entraineurs et des benevoles afin d'assurer la conformite a Sport securitaire/Safe Sport ;
  • S'engager aupres des proprietaires/exploitants de terrains de golf et de diverses communautes pour favoriser, developper et entretenir des relations cles ;
  • Autres taches selon les besoins.
COMPETENCES REQUISES :
  • Un diplome d'etudes postsecondaires en gestion du sport ou dans un domaine connexe est considere comme un atout ;
  • La connaissance de l'industrie canadienne du golf est consideree comme un atout ;
  • Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles et capacite a effectuer plusieurs taches simultanees dans un environnement dynamique ;
  • Solides competences interpersonnelles et personnalite extravertie ;
  • Personne motivee et enthousiaste, prete a voyager dans la province ;
  • Capacite a travailler de facon independante et en equipe ;
  • Excellentes competences en matiere de service a la clientele ;
  • Excellentes aptitudes a la communication verbale, ecrite et orale ;
  • Le bilinguisme (francais et anglais) est considere comme un atout ;

OVERVIEW:
Golf Canada is looking for a motivated, mission driven individual with excellent communications skills to assist with the implementation of the program in the province. The Coordinator, First Tee - Premier depart Quebec will report directly to the Manager, First Tee - Premier depart Quebec and will assist with the administration and execution of the First Tee program within the province.
AREAS OF FOCUS:
  • Assist with the day-to-day administration efforts related to First Tee programs, including the golf facility program, School Program, Community Program and volunteer/coach training;
  • Fulfill direct program inquiries and requests from golf clubs, golf professionals, teachers, parents/guardians and community leaders;
  • Recruit volunteers to assist with program implementation at Program Locations (golf facilities);
  • Coordinate with Program Locations on scheduling, registration and data collection/reporting;
  • Update and maintain the reporting database (Salesforce) and website (WordPress);
  • Assist with the delivery coordination of branding, equipment, and program material with
  • First Tee Headquarters and First Tee - Canada staff;
  • Work with Marketing and Communications lead on effectively promoting First Tee programs and initiatives to increase participant registration and attract interest of donors;
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with Golf Quebec staff to meet provincial reporting obligations;
  • Assist with the collection and review of coach and volunteer background checks to ensure Safe Sport compliancy;
  • Engage with golf course owners/operators and diverse communities to foster, grow and nurture key relationships;
  • Other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES:
  • Post Secondary Degree in Sport Business/Management or related field is considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Golf industry is considered an asset;
  • Excellent organizations skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and outgoing personality;
  • Motivated enthusiastic individual who will willing to travel within the province;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) considered an asset;
  • Ability to travel within the province and work overtime as needed.
NOTE: The Golf Canada's regular hours of work are 40 hours per week, namely Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and 5 days a week including a one-hour lunch. However, the demands of your position may mean that your hours of work will vary, may be irregular and will be the hours required to meet the objectives of your employment.
