SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Manager, Social Media, the Coordinator, Social Media will be primarily responsible for creating content that will be shared on social media and interacting with communities on identified platforms. As part of his/her job, he/she will liaise with the various departments to develop an editorial content calendar and respond to requests from our communities in our social channels. In addition, she/he will coordinate several social media projects, promotional campaigns, analyzes and studies related to the performance of initiatives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Participates in the Ontario content distribution strategy in collaboration with the Manager, Social Media to ensure the vision and evolution of the company on social networks while being aligned with corporate objectives and the three-year plan;

  • Write and publish content on the company\'s various social media platforms;

  • Coordinates the creation of various audiovisual content with the various internal teams and follows up with collaborators. Collaborates (contact) with the brand management team to obtain the necessary approvals when necessary. Comfortable with creating photo and video content;

  • Animates the social communities of the Ontario market of Cogeco Connexion on a daily basis and maintains relevant and creative conversations with members of the community. Participates in the growth of platforms;

  • Work closely with the Manager, Communications and the Ontario Community Relations/YourTV teams in defining projects and content associated with Community Relations and/or YourTV;

  • Maintains excellent relationships with the various departments of the company in order to support their projects in social media if necessary;

  • Management of Ontario promotional campaigns on social media;

  • Perform expense accounts related to Ontario promotional campaigns on a weekly basis;

  • Provide customer service and technical support on social media in the Ontario market when necessary;

  • Participate in monitoring and crisis management in support of the Manager, Social Media and the Director, Public Relations and Communications during and outside office hours;

  • Maintain editorial rigor (rights approval and validation process, sharing authorization, etc.);

  • Measure CCX social media performance and analyze cybermetrics data (Meta Business Suite, Twitter Analytics and Sprout Social); make recommendations to optimize our engagement with our communities and customer service on social networks;

  • Be and stay current of new trends in social media and its management tools. Regularly offers ideas and suggestions to improve visibility and engagement on Cogeco Connexion\'s Ontario platforms; deploy these new practices when relevant;

  • Maintain relationships with various external suppliers.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
ACADEMIC TRAINING

  • Bachelor\'s degree in communications/marketing/public relations or other related field.


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 1 or 2 years of experience in Social Media Management or Community Management.

  • Sustained social media presence required.


SPECIFIC SKILLS

  • Bilingualism (French and English) with superior writing skills in English;

  • Research, analysis and project management skills;

  • Knowledge of Google Drive;

  • Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube.

  • Knowledge of Sprout Social, Reddit & Tik Tok, an asset;

  • Skills in photography and video creation, a strong asset.

  • Blogger, an asset.

  • Attitudes sought: Curiosity, positivism, professionalism, patience and good stress management, humor, customer service approach, creativity, strong interpersonal skills, meticulousness, rigor and resourcefulness.
