Description and RequirementsWork Location: Hybrid, 1-2 days from officePosition Type: Contract, 4 Months (high potential for an extension)Location: Toronto, ONCompensation Range: $21.00/hr to $28.00/hrOur leading financial client is seeking a Coordinator, Social Media Marketing to join the team.The Marketing & Communications group is responsible for developing Brand & Line of business social media marketing - paid & organic.Responsibilities

  • As the Coordinator, Social Media Marketing, you are accountable for working with a center of excellence team that leads the strategy, planning and implementation of Social Media across the Enterprise on behalf of the Customer Marketing team.
  • The position will work with different stakeholders including Channel, Marketing, Corporate Communications/PR, Agencies and Vendors to further the adoption and integration of Social Media throughout the Enterprise.
  • You will be positioned to both build the brand through Purpose-driven storytelling, content coordination, and effective social media management, as well as drive sales opportunities through support of advisor social media channels.
Must Have
  • 1-5 years of experience in content creation experience in the social media space
  • Undergraduate Degree or Diploma
  • Social media planning and content coordination
  • Experience working in or with matrixed organizations.
  • Experience using and a deep understanding of the nuances of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube.
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Nice to Have
  • Experience in Vertical Social Networks
  • Experience managing creative and media agencies or partners is an asset
