Oil sands development is an important component of CNOOC International's global portfolio. In Canada, CNOOC Petroleum North America has interest in more than 300,000 acres in the Athabasca region - one of the largest deposits of Canadian oil reserves, where we use technologically advanced production processes such as Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD). Our Long Lake facility, located in northern Alberta just south of Fort McMurray, began producing in 2008 and is a SAGD-only operation for the interim, with production capacity of around 72,000 barrels of bitumen a day.

schedule which requires you to work fourteen 12-hour day shifts
(7am - 7pm)
, followed by
fourteen days off.

Field Coordinator - Site Services
to join our growing team in
Fort McMurray, Alberta
. This dynamic role will be instrumental in
overseeing and coordinating essential non-production infrastructure and services that support safe, efficient, and reliable operations across the site.
Your Background
Minimum 4 years of facilities and civil maintenance or other Site Services work scopes within the Oil & Gas industry.
4 years of supervisory experience.
Strong background in contract administration, finance, and asset management.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands, including prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
High-level of discretion, confidentiality, and reliability.
Project experience an asset.
Your Role with Our Team
Develop work execution plans and work schedules for contract support services to deliver efficient services within the limits of the annual operating plan.
Coordinates work scopes relative to the Roads & Grounds, Facilities Maintenance, Potable Water Treatment, Water & Sewer hauling, building propane and equipment refueling work activities.
Provide site infrastructure support resources and services according to specified schedules, cost, quality, safety, and environmental objectives.
Coordinate and support various additional outside vendor support to complete various tasks such as security gates, paving when required, camp facility maintenance outside of internal trades capacity, fencing, roof repairs etc.
Perform all analysis as required to support the operations.
Record data and results in various software applications in timely manner.
Ensure safe operation and compliance to policies and procedures as an integral part of all Civil, Facilities, and camp work activities.
Manage an effective facilities preventative maintenance program.
Provides direct leadership to contractors and effectively manages resources while developing work force capacity in support of the comprehensive management of Long Lake Facilities.
Issue Safe work permits related to building trades and civil work.
A key member of the Long Lake IMT, Incident Management Team.
Collaborates within the team and inter-departments to identify continuous improvement opportunities relative to safety and cost performance.
Review and validate daily/weekly/monthly time tickets in various systems.
Participate in developing and reviewing procedural standards.
Maintain custodial cleanliness and safety standards.
Support the optimization of usage of all non-operating facilities.
Support Area Production and Discipline Teams in initiatives, projects, and troubleshooting.
Support various maintenance reports.
Able to utilize SAP to plan work activities and schedule resources.
