We are actively seeking a creative, communication expert for our Coordinator, Retail Promotions, Events, & Communications career opportunity. This is a full-time, permanent role, positioning the Co-op for continued growth. Who You Are The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator with a passion for retail promotions, and events, with a proven track record of successfully supporting cross functional teams. Working closely with Marketing, as part of the Central Operations team, the Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting our diverse retail divisions, including Fuel & Convenience, Liquor, and Food. A results-oriented individual who stays up-to-date with the latest communication and event trends, and best practices. This role requires a Bachelor\'s degree, 3 years of communications experience in retail or a related field, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, proficiency in communication tools and software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with amazing time management skills. Building strong relationships both internally and externally is essential for success in this role. A passion for being part of a team focused on delivering amazing customer experiences is key for success in this role. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do Reporting to the Director of Central Operations, the Coordinator, Retail Promotions, Events, & Communications plays a pivotal role in supporting successful execution of diverse retail initiatives. Responsibilities encompass planning, coordinating, and executing retail events, supporting marketing logistics, and conducting post-event evaluations. The coordinator collaborates to develop comprehensive communication strategies aligned with retail promotions, coordinating promotional materials, and manage communication channels for consistent messaging. Additionally, they monitor industry trends, create clear communication materials, and manage content calendars.
