Position Description and Opportunity



Cantrav is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the Program Operations team in achieving the organization's annual targets while upholding Cantrav's strong industry reputation.

Reporting to the Director, Program Operations and working closely with Program Managers, the Program Coordinator will assist in planning and ensuring the successful execution of group programs, primarily in the Rockies, with potential involvement in other destinations as needed. This role involves coordinating logistics for group movements and activities, liaising with local suppliers, and providing on-site support to Program Managers to ensure seamless program delivery. Strong time management, multitasking abilities, and effective communication with partners, suppliers, and clients are essential for success in this role. The Program Coordinator will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Cantrav's operational team and industry stakeholders to create exceptional experiences for clients.

Responsibilities



Reports to the Director, Program Operations; Supporting the Operations Team on a day to day basis; both in office and onsite; Your client responsibility is to deliver on the promise. Your corporate responsibility is to deliver that promise at a profit; Plan, Develop and Ensure the successful execution of client programs when required; Responsible for continually developing destination and logistical knowledge; and Preparation of flight manifests and F&B Service orders Other tasks as required

Skills & Qualifications



The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

Good oral, written and interpersonal skills; Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to make decisions, manage logistics, multi-task, and meet project deadlines; Superior organization and communication skills, attention to detail as well as the ability to successfully manage changing priorities; Ability to work with multiple suppliers and build long lasting build relationships Demonstrated experience producing high quality work and outcomes along with commitment to accuracy; Demonstrated problem solving capabilities, organizing and budgeting skills; Proficient computer skills (Excel, word processing, PowerPoint); An understanding and familiarity with tourism is an asset; Knowledge of Banff tourism areas is an asset; Ability to learn job-related material primarily through oral instruction and observation which takes place mainly in an on-the-job training setting; and Availability to work evenings and weekends as business needs require;
