We are looking for a Coordinator General Services who will be responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and supervising mandates for site wide services to the various contractors. The role will be responsible for supporting Designated Leaders and the Contract Owners in Safety, Cost and Performance tracking as it relates to the different site wide service agreements and scopes of work. This role is an exciting opportunity that will afford the candidate some invaluable experience and a chance to learn and grow with the business and directly support the achievement of our full potential.

Reporting to the Superintendent, Contractor Management you will:
  • Develop and maintain the relationships within the business, with external stakeholders, and services providers
  • Develop and monitor the risk analysis processes of the daily work of general service providers
  • Support the management of change orders to ensure activities remain within project scope
  • Monitor the work and performance of service providers to ensure compliance with the contract and schedule
  • Work with service partners, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure productive collaboration
  • Participate in the tendering process for site wide services and track/maintain budgets
  • Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported, investigated and corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner \xe2\x80\x93 leading investigations and audits as required
  • Confirm schedule, quote/cost with the finalization of scope of work with Contractor, and ensuring end users understand/compliance

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and others.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a position managing the execution of field work or contract work and ensuring work safety
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in an industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams and facilitate problem solving and conflict resolution among multiple stakeholders.
  • A strong ability to work and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including time management skills and facilitation skills.
  • Proficient with Office 365.
