Reporting to the Manager, Finance Transformation & Strategy, the Coordinator, Finance Transformation & Strategy is responsible for both performance visibility and transformation support across the Finance function. The successful candidate will support both the Manager and Specialist, Finance Transformation & Strategy with the Transformation pipeline and change management efforts through coordination with initiative owners on a regular basis. This role supports Finance effectiveness efforts through increased performance visibility. This includes finalization of the Finance Scorecard, increased communication to the broader Finance team through town halls and the Finance Hub, as well as Transformation progress reporting for the Finance Leadership Team (FLT). The successful candidate will be provided with exposure across the various Finance sub-functions and opportunities to develop change management skills.

Responsibilities:


  • Creation and regular updating of improvement pipeline reporting: highlighting individual initiative progress and monthly portfolio report
  • Support Specialist with improvement initiatives and change management activities
  • Support Finance strategy development with the Manager and Specialist, Finance Transformation & Strategy
  • Ensure the Finance Hub remains a centralized, frequent and transparent communication tool, through regularly reviews with function delegates and SharePoint maintenance
  • Support the Finance Scorecard though the finalization of metric tracking and monthly updates with stakeholders
  • Support the FLT and create materials for town hall and executive meetings
  • Document new processes resulting from improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with the various Finance sub-functions to understand and document current state processes and opportunities
  • Produce presentation documents to support executive meetings #LI-JN1

Qualifications:


  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Change Management, Finance or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a similar business environment.
  • Strong presentation, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong team player with ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SharePoint would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and partner effectively with other team members
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as appropriate for the needs of varied audiences.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, but able to work individually with minimal supervision when required
