VOTRE ROLE
Offrir un service de solution de transport complet aux clients de Ceva Canada dans le secteur de la defense en gerant les operations aeriennes, maritimes et routieres ainsi que les achats et les soumissions.
QUE FEREZ-VOUS?

  • Etablir une relation constructive avec le client
  • Faire le suivi des commandes aupres de divers fournisseurs et transmettre l'information au client
  • Verifier la documentation et s'assurer qu'elle est conforme aux exigences
  • Emettre la documentation necessaire en respectant les instructions et les reglements
  • Maintenir certains rapports (internes ou externes)
  • Suivre les expeditions jusqu'a destination et informer le client des developpements
  • Facturer selon les tarifs fournis au client
  • Effectuer d'autres taches definies par le superviseur immediat
  • Repondre aux diverses demandes de soumissions (clients et/ou collaborateurs a l'etranger)
  • Fournir des solutions innovantes au(x) client(s)
  • Repondre aux appels d'offres (RFQ) et aux diverses demandes de soumissions
  • Travailler en equipe et soutenir les collegues pendant les vacances et absences
CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS
Formation et experience : DEC (province de Quebec) ou niveau de scolarite equivalent
Competences : 3 a 5 ans dans l'industrie du transport, incluant au moins une annee en expedition de fret
Aptitudes : A l'aise avec la coordination de FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, RORO, fret aerien et transport terrestre, y compris les cargaisons surdimensionnees, dangereuses et lourdes. Sens du detail. Capacite a penser de facon creative. Esprit proactif et gestion des risques. Accent sur la securite et la conformite. Excellentes competences en service a la clientele. Capacite a lire, ecrire et parler en anglais et en francais.
Caracteristiques personnelles : Repond rapidement et professionnellement aux besoins des clients; capacite a lire, comprendre et remplir des listes de verification, formulaires ou autres documents connexes. Leadership, integrite, bon jugement, aptitudes en negociation, esprit d'equipe, creativite, rigueur, sens de l'organisation, autonomie et excellentes habiletes en communication sont les competences cles recherchees.
COMPETENCES SUPPLEMENTAIRES
  • Connaissance du fret de classe 1 (marchandises dangereuses)
  • Formation en marchandises dangereuses (DG)
  • Solide connaissance des Incoterms
  • Experience dans le transport de marchandises controlees / ITAR
  • Certification en marchandises controlees

YOUR ROLE
Offer a complete transport solution service to Ceva Canada clients in the defense sector by handling air, ocean, road operations as well as procurement and quotation.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • Established a constructive relationship with the client
  • Follow up on orders with various suppliers and relay information to the client
  • Verify documentation and ensure it complies with requirements
  • Issue necessary documentation while adhering to the instructions & regulations
  • Maintain certain reports (internal or external)
  • Track shipments to their destination and inform the client of developments
  • Invoice according to the rates provided to the client
  • Other tasks defined by the immediate supervisor
  • Respond to various quotation requests (clients and/or overseas collaborators)
  • Provide innovative solutions to the client(s)
  • Respond to RFQs & various quotation requests
  • Work in a team and support other team members during vacations and absence
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Education and Experience: DEC (Quebec province) or similar education level
  • Credentials: 3-5 years in the transport industry including a minimum of one year of freight forwarding experience
  • Skills: Comfortable coordinating FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, RORO, Airfreight, and overland transport, including oversize, hazardous, and heavy-lift cargo. Attention to Detail. Ability to think outside the box. Proactive Thinking & Risk Mitigation. Focus on security and compliance. Very strong customer service skills. Ability to read, write and speak in English and French.
  • Characteristics: Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents. Leadership, integrity, good judgment, negotiation skills, team spirit, creativity, conscientiousness, organization, autonomy, and strong communication are the key competencies sought.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
  • Knowledge of class 1 DG cargo
  • DG training
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms,
  • Experience in the transportation of controlled goods/ITAR goods
  • Controlled goods certified
