Overview: We are currently seeking a collaborative individual to join our team as a Co-op Student reporting to the Manager, Transmission Policy and Compliance. - Support improvements to workflows and process improvements related to license applications and compliance reviews.
- Assist in analysis related to electrical reliability and regional electricity planning.
- Provide other support to policy consultations.
- Completion of 2nd or 3rd year of an engineering program, policy, economics or related study and registered in a co-op program at a recognized post-secondary institution
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Curiosity and initiative, with a strong interest in the energy sector
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated coursework related to the energy sector, process optimization and machine learning is an asset
