OverviewWexe2x80x99re looking for a co-op student to join our Marketing department for 4 months to assist us with the management of our digital and print content to make sure it aligns with organizational goals and meets user needs effectively. In this role, youxe2x80x99ll work closely with the resource development team to evaluate digital and print materials through auditing existing content in order to identify gaps and improvements needed. Content strategy draws on and develops skills in research, analysis, organization, writing and editing, and problem-solving xe2x80x93 all highly transferable skills in todayxe2x80x99s job market. This position will offer training and hands-on experience in content strategy, audit processes, and data analysis while working with a dynamic team in a public sector organization.Part of the Experience, Communication, Marketing and Insights department, we partner with other divisions to understand and help meet the needs of our stakeholders and our employees. Beginning with research, our Experience and Insights teams develop plans with experience at the heart of their analysis and approach. Our Marketing and Communications teams collaborate to develop effective strategies encompassing channels, messaging, outreach, resources, and campaigns. You will spend time setting up administrative and technological essentials, and completing onboarding tasks, including security and payroll setup.During your first week you will engage in a comprehensive onboarding program designed to equip you for success. You will be partnering and meeting with your manager to discuss your goals and align them with the teamxe2x80x99s vision. Additionally, you will learn how our department contributes to the overall business strategy and supports the organizationxe2x80x99s mandate. You will also work through the onboarding program alongside your supervisor for added guidance and support
