We are hiring a, Co-op, Engineering for the Winter Term with our Distibution Control Centre team.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:We\xe2\x80\x99ll treat you as one of our own and your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Supporting the Distribution Control Centre (DCC) and Outage Dispatch Operations
  • Support in Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) and General Electric Asset Performance Management (GE APM)
  • Process Improvement Initiatives
  • Research and Development
  • Data Collection and Analysis
Who you are:Working as a valued part of our Distribution Control Centre, you will bring:
  • Post Secondary student studying Engineering eligible for a Winter 2025 Work Term
  • The ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data for monitoring systems performance, identifying tends and supporting decision-making processes in ADMS and GE APM.
  • Familiarity with relevant software (ADMS, Maximo, or other asset management systems.
  • Willingness to quickly learn new technical tools are essential for contribution effectively to DCC and outage dispatch operations
  • Proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing solution, especially when it comes to process improvement and addressing operational issues in real time
  • The ability to adapt quickly and remain open to new knowledge - whether in research, technology or operational practices, will help the student thrive and add value to the team.
