We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook/ Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a cook/prep cook you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly by preparing ingredients and assisting in meal preparation. Duties

Prepare and chop vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as directed by the head cook or kitchen manager. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage and sanitation practices. Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and health regulations. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning workstations and equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as required in the kitchen setting. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
