True Taco specializes in Mexican and Salvadorian cuisine. We are proud members of The Market at The Western Fair District, serving our community fresh, home cooking since 2009.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a cook. Market hours are fast paced and energetic!
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Provide excellent customer service by serving food promptly and courteously. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service is preferred. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team and solo. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This a weekend position. Our Market hours are Saturday 8 am - 3 pm & Sunday 10 am - 2 pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
Work Location: In person
