Overview

Little Kitchen Academy is the first of it's kind Montessori-inspired cooking academy for children three through eighteen. Join our team and contribute to a more independent, educated, and healthy society through changing lives from scratch. We are looking for an Instructor who loves working with children, enjoys cooking, and can confidently lead a classroom. This position would start training by the end of November for our winter camps.

MUST HAVES:

Culinary experience or degree Ability to communicate clearly. Ability to work as a team. Kindness, patience, and enthusiasm for living a healthy lifestyle. Morning, afternoon, and evening availability for at least 15 hours/week (Weekdays and Weekends), including for our Winter Camps (Dec 20-Jan2). Passion for teaching. Experience or desire to work with children. First-Aid/CPR training, Food Safe Level 1, clean Criminal Record Check (prior to being hired).
WOULD BE AN ASSET:

Childhood Education experience or degree. Instructor experience. Montessori Education familiarity or experience.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
