What you'll do

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food for events, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Provide exceptional service to guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all food service areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Support catering operations by setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed. Utilize your culinary skills to assist with cooking and food handling during events. Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met promptly and professionally. Contribute to team efforts by communicating effectively with colleagues throughout the event.

Basic qualifications

Experience in restaurants and/or event spaces Must have a valid food handlers certificate Strong knife skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or culinary roles. Knowledge of menu planning and catering services. Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
