Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner Take food orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper meal preparation instructions are conveyed Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and food safety practices Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking or meal assembly Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including tables, counters, and utensils Follow all food safety and handling protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth operation of the restaurant

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques Strong serving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service Basic understanding of food industry operations and restaurant procedures Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
