Duties

Prepare and serve meals according to menu specifications, maintaining consistency and quality Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure fresh and suitable supplies Handle food safely, following all food handling and sanitation guidelines Perform food preparation tasks including chopping, cooking, plating, and garnishing Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment sanitation Support catering events and special functions as needed Provide excellent customer service by serving guests efficiently and courteously Operate kitchen tools skillfully, including knife skills for various food prep tasks Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

Previous experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is preferred Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable Skilled in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly with a focus on food safety standards Background in the food industry with knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, catering, and serving roles is advantageous Strong knife skills and experience in food safety practices are essential for success in this role
