Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a cook of prepared meals and soups. This role involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, able to work independently, with a strong background in food handling. Along with helping with our prepared meals, looking for new daily soups to be created and a variety of frozen pizzas and looking for someone to bring new ideas to our take home menu.

Duties

Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards Create new items for our menu prepare fresh soups daily Create and make pizza's for our freezer Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas Handle food safely by following proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene protocols Manage food inventory and restock supplies as needed Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and service Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience with meal preparation Strong understanding of the food industry and customer service principles Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Contract length: 10 months

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
