Avalanche Pizza is looking for a Cook to join our team!

Responsibilities

Determine the size of food portions and costs Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods Inspect kitchens and food service areas Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Clean kitchen and work areas Preparing and cooking pizzas, chicken tenders, and other menu items to standard. Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Following recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality. Handling food with care and attention, in a calm and respectful manner ("gentle kitchen" approach). Ensuring all food is served hot, fresh, and on time - even during high-volume hours. Supporting the team by restocking ingredients, cleaning equipment, and closing the kitchen properly. Following all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines. Communicating effectively with teammates and front-of-house staff Serving costumers if needed
