We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Cook. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of food service and preparation within our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating proficiency in various aspects of meal preparation, cooking, and food safety.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
Serve meals to customers with a focus on quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and customer satisfaction.
Participate in training sessions related to food safety and service excellence.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the restaurant or food service industry, with at least 3 years.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
Familiarity with Latin American preparation techniques and ingredients.
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
Speaking Spanish is an asset.
Food handlers certificate.
