to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food preparation and cooking. As a cook, you will be responsible for executing our recipes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your ability to manage kitchen operations effectively will be crucial in maintaining a productive and harmonious work environment.

Responsibilities

Being responsible for food preparation, cooking, and cleaning. Strictly adhere to and enforce all established kitchen management SOPs and food presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality. Keeping track of kitchen inventory and communicating what needs to be ordered with managers Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.

Experience

Proven experience as a Cook or have held a similar position within the food industry. Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) will be a major asset for effective team communication. Strong ability to work alone with little supervision Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles is an asset Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including inventory control Experience in food handling and adherence to food safety regulations. Background in hospitality with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Some creativity is encouraged to bring new and exciting seasonal dishes to add to our growing menu

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
