Job Responsibilities:
Skilled in using the
wok
and
deep fryer
.
Proficient in
Cantonese, Thai, and Szechuan cuisine
.
Maintain smooth and organized kitchen operations during service.
Provide support to different stations (packing, fried rice, and deep fry) during peak hours.
Oversee and manage overall kitchen operations during non-peak times.
Hire and train kitchen staff
Job Requirements:
Minimum
2 years of experience
in kitchen.
Ability to work in a
fast-paced, high-intensity environment
.
Able to stand for long periods; work position requires continuous operation during busy times.
Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work area
Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Require hiring and training kitchen staff in the future.

$25/hour

30-40 hours per week

Breaks:
15-minute paid break every 3 hours
