As the

Cook

, you would prepare the food for each meal as outlined on the menu. You would be responsible for ensuring that the food is prepared in proper manner and presented to the residents in a way that is appetizing in both taste and appearance.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist in serving meals and providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and efficiency. Stay updated on food preparation techniques and trends in the food industry.

Requirements:

Must have a Food Handling Certificate. Must have experience in quantity food preparation. Must be familiar with the use of kitchen equipment. Experience working with the elderly is an asset.
