Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards and resident requirements. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly handled. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service. Handle food items safely, adhering to all food handling regulations. Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred. Familiarity with cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience in serving or customer service roles is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. A passion for cooking and providing excellent food service. Pay: $19.29 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
