Job Summary

This position is Monday to Friday daytime. The successful candidate will be preparing meals for 6 to 10 clients at an inpatient addiction treatment facility.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a cook/chef. This role involves providing exceptional food service, preparing and cooking meals, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent serving skills, and experience working in restaurant or kitchen environments. Duties

Serve clients efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Prepare and cook a variety of healthy menu items Handle food safely, adhering to all food handling and sanitation protocols Meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met Ensure all food products are stored properly and rotated regularly

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in the food industry demonstrating strong serving skills and customer service excellence Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience with food safety certifications is a plus

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
