Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Handle food with care, maintaining proper hygiene and safety protocols Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with health standards Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods Co-ordinate special events

Skills

Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and team members Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic environment Basic understanding of the food industry standards for quality and safety

Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
