Duties
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, following proper food handling procedures.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and preparation.
Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
