As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish is prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste. Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with front house staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or as a cook in a restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation. Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
