Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in menu planning and development to ensure a diverse and appealing selection of dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and preparation techniques are followed. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during meal times. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation. Participate in catering events as needed, providing high-quality service to guests. Support the dietary department by assisting with meal planning and special dietary needs.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dietary aide role or similar position within the food service industry is preferred. Strong background in cooking, food preparation, and fine dining experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Experience with menu planning and catering services is a plus. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
