We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our Dietary team. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. You will be expected to work every other weekend.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
Adapt recipes and cooking methods to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.
Requirements
Experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment.
Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
