We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning and preparation of menu items, ensuring variety and seasonal availability. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards. Assist with special dietary requests or modifications as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
