Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Handle food safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages as needed.
Participate in ongoing training related to food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
Skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food service are highly desirable.
A background in the food industry will be considered an asset.
