Mestizo is hiring for our new location at First Street Market!

We're a busy, fast-paced family-run Mexican restaurant known for authentic street-style food -- tacos, huaraches, gorditas, alambres, and more. We're looking for a dependable and motivated cook to join our close-knit team.

Join our team as a cook and showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are looking for part-time to full-time cooks. We pool our tips at Mestizo, and we like to include the cooks!

What You'll Do:

Cook and prepare dishes according to house recipes and quality standards Cashier duties Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized Work efficiently during rush periods without sacrificing quality Follow proper food handling and safety procedures Support your team wherever needed

What We're Looking For:

Kitchen experience (Mexican food a big plus) Ability to handle a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and portioning Reliability and punctuality Team player mentality Great customer service
