Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and meal preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
