Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team for the summer season of 2026 (June - October). Salary will depend on experience. Do not apply if you do not have a vehicle.

The ideal candidate for the Cook position will have experience in a restaurant and kitchen environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing a casual fine dining experience for our guests that meet our high standards for quality and presentation. Free housing can be provided for the duration of the work contract - (travel trailer on site).

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus including baking bread, pastries. Assist in daily food prep Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Collaborate with servers and sometimes guests to coordinate service and ensuring all allergy or special food needs are met. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed..

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant and/or kitchen setting Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers. Work permit or work and travel visa if not a permanent resident or Canadian citizen.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
