We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the food industry is a plus, as you may assist with food handling and preparation.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about the facility and services offered. Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payments. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety standards are met during meal preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area as well as any dining or food service areas. Support food service operations by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper food handling practices are followed. Handle guest complaints effectively, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction. Provide recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and activities to enhance the guest experience.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred; experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices related to kitchen operations is beneficial. Strong communication skills with an ability to interact positively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment. A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments.
